Notice regarding art.13 of EU Reg. 679/2016

Since the EU Regulation 679/2016 came into force, the undersigned company Alvi Officine Meccaniche Edgardo Viazzo and C. S.r.l. Strada Statale, 230, no 49 13030 Caresanablot (VC) is „responsible“ for the data processing and is required to provide some information concerning the use of the personal information.

Source of the information and the purpose of its processing

The personal information in our possession is collected directly from individual customers and/or coworkers or through agents and representatives during a business relationship or an offer of supply during a fair or it is given directly by the interested party at the time of registration on our website when requesting a specific product or service (www.alvi-italia.com).

The information may also be collected from third parties, such as, for example, information acquired from external companies for the purposes of commercial information or market research or by our other customers or suppliers.
Personal information is used within the normal activities of our company for purposes that are connected to and are instrumental for the management of contractual relationships; it is also used for purposes connected to the obligations established by laws, regulations and community legislation as well as by instructions given by authorities legitimated by law and by supervisory and control bodies; it can also be used for purposes connected to our business for which the interested party has the right to express his or her consent, that is commercial purposes aimed at sending promotions of new products and therefore for marketing purposes such as sending newsletters.

Data processing methods

The data will be processed using appropriate tools so as to guarantee security and confidentiality and this can be carried out not only with manual tools but also by means of automated tools (both computerized and telematic) to store, manage and transmit the data.

Categories of parties to whom information can be communicated

We inform you that the personal information you provide or that is acquired during the contractual relationship may be communicated to the following parties who perform functions strictly connected to or are instrumental to our activity, functions that must therefore be considered fundamental for the operations of our company:

1. to the Financial Administration, to social security and welfare agencies if necessary, to the Public Safety Authorities;
2. to carriers or other entities for services which are connected to supplying and shipment;
3. to companies or professional bodies responsible for fraud control and debt collection;
4. to banks and credit institutions within the financial management of the company;
5. to insurance companies;
6. to parties responsible for auditing financial statements as well as to administrative, tax and contractual consultants.
The personal information you provide may also be communicated to other companies linked to us for the coordination of sales activities (distributors, agents or marketing companies), also abroad, both within the European Union and outside the European Union for which your explicit consent is required.
However, your data will not be subject to publication.
Retention period
Your personal information will be stored in our databases for the duration of the outstanding contract or for the management of a specific request. Should the contractual relationship be terminated, your data will be retained for the time necessary to carry out binding obligations in accounting, taxation and communication matters to authorities as well as for the judicial protection of the rights of the holder.
